Visionradio have held a pioneering role in the development of concepts and services for internet delivery to TV since 2003.
Our activities have put us in the forefront of two UK projects which have been co-sponsored by BERR (DTI). The first, under the TAHI (The Application Home Initiative) umbrella focused on multiple online service delivery to the home, including the TV as a point of interaction. The second is provision of energy usage information, again to the TV, within the current UK Smart Metering project.
The lessons gained through these and other development activities have shown that above all, internet services to the television must be simple to view, navigate and use. Hence the development of both the brand, and design ethos, that is easy2™.
To achieve the best of breed design for the engine behind any easy2™ developments, Visionradio has a long standing partnership with Insite Communications, who have an unrivalled experience in robust, secure and efficient software "engine" delivery.
Together, Visionradio and Insite are working on a number of software and online solutions for delivering practical benefits and cost efficiencies, all focused around managing the data and business process centrally, and displaying the results appropriately - be it traditional PC web, TV or mobile.
